La basilique de Notre-Dame de Fourvière est une basilique mineure à Lyon. Elle a été construite avec des fonds privés entre 1872 et 1896 sur une position dominante dans la ville, en tant que marque le triomphe des valeurs chrétiennes en opposition aux socialistes de la commune de Lyon de 1870. La Basilique de Lyon Fourvière est de même inspiration que la Basilique du Sacré-Cœur à Paris. Sa conception, par Pierre Bossan, tire à la fois sur l'architecture romane et byzantine.
